Top gadgets for the car

The car gadget industry is growing on how many are released every year. The most popular can be fitted and unfitted easily which is especially important when you’ve got a car contract hire. All of these gadgets are just some of my personal favourites.

The light up car signal.
A great way to tell people what you really think about them, even better write out how’s my driving, I dont really care. Brilliant for those who love a joke.

Econav
Doesn’t compete with the main rival tom-tom but it’s great for everyone who loves to be environmentally friendly as ot chooses the most fuel-efficient route to take.

Safe to keep your valuables in the car.
A perfect way to hold most of the other gadgets in. Many of these safe’s can be attached to the car without any mess however, what happens if your whole car gets stolen?

A breath tester to read the alcohol levels.
Great for a laugh on a night out or for seriously seeing if you have gone over the legal limit. Not sure having one in the car is the best idea as if you’re drunk and in your car you will still get arrested but there you have it.

Dad’s cab
I know that my dad always moans about taking me everywhere, I just wish i had the luxury of being able to afford lessons! This will leave me even more short in cash as each journey is recorded just like a proper taxi. Great idea for dad’s to get their own back.

The fan which is great for non air-con cars.
Perfect for all the cars without air conditioning in the car. A good idea for when it’s just too much in the summer.99 you cant go wrong at all.

A speed camera alert gadget.
A good gadget to have if you don’t realise that you are slightly over the limit. You have enough time to slow downl, a simply brilliant gadget. The police still roam the roads and it cant tell you where they are!

The Tom-Tom
Got to be the best gadget out there. Great for when you want Homer Simpson to be saying Doh! whenever you have missed a turn as well as avoiding arguments.

Most of these gadgets are removable which is brilliant if you are always changing cars. Car contract hire is a brilliant idea and you can carry the gadgets from perhaps a Punto all the way to as top of the range Audi with a Audi contract hire.

Car Technology change

Just how far has the car industry come in recent years? From being a luxury way back in the 1930’s to the cheap affordable way you can buy them now using car contract hire it is amazing just how far they have come.

The knowledge of the games industry is the best way I can talk about the change in technology. I’m going to go back to the days of the Super Nintendo Entertainment System or SNES for short. I could cover the first ever racing game but seeing as I was only really around from the realease of the SNES it is best that I only cover the time after this. F1 Pole position was one of the first driving games I ever played, for it’s time of 1993 it was a brilliant game.

Jump ahead just four years see’s the release of F1 pole position 64 on the Nintendo 64. It is amazing to see the difference between the two games. The 2-D to 3-D jump that took place between these two games was huge and it shows. However the next major jump doesn’t come for the next generation of consoles as the only difference there is improved 3-D graphics but the new F1 game on the PS3 is so realistic looking, it’s almost a waste of time watching it on T.V.

Of course the transition did not just happen to the gaming industry, there have been many advancements in the technology of the car over the same period of time. Without a doubt the best invention to come to the industry of cars has to be the Hybrid car. When the world’s oil supply runs dry Hybrid cars will most certainly be one of the main solutions to solve the problem, at least in the car business. The newer Hybrid cars have a better system in that when you brake the car, more power gets put into the battery.

Some of the other technology in the car is fantastic such as the touchscreen’s and the never to be forgotten tomtom system.

The Hyrbid car is only going to increase in sales (after the recession that is) and will certainly be the car of the future, but for nowl, you need a car that is both decent and afforable. Spend a lot less money on a leased car? The Audi contract hire looks pretty good as well as being as little as £214 a month.

Computer game cars- now you can have a real one

You really don’t even need to play a race to see how good the graphics are to the new Grand Turismo. When your playing games like these you feel like you could just do with one of these top of the range cars. Are all the cars you see in games such as this really going to cost you as much as you would expect?

With car contract hire they can most certainly become available with as little as £214 a month. When pl;aying some of the new games out there like Grand Turismo it is easy, even for me, to see why people spend so much money on cars when they look this great, and with car leasing you really dont have to spend much at all on a fantastic looking car. Sometimes when playing games with graphics as good as this the games really seem to put you there in the action. After a decade it is unreal how far the industry has come. Playing F1 on the N64 nearly ten years ago I remember thinking that you really are not going to beat the graphics of the game.

When turning on Grand Turismo for the first time it is amazing to see how far technology has come in such a short space of time. The N64’s playabilty is no way going to even compete with the graphics you see nowadays, it is so much better as companies just put too much effort into the graphics rather than the actual fun of it. It wasn’t until recently whilst playing one of the graphically stunning looking games that I decided I could really do with one of these awsome looking cars.

Are these brilliant graphics put into the game for playabilty or just so you can really see how good these cars are? To a certain extent, yes! it is truly amazing how you can pick from so many different car names as well as choose the unique colour for you. The best thing is that you can pick what car you are thinking about buying in the game and it shows you all of the driving abilities as well as the colour you may wan’t to have it, genious. Fantastic!

As well as this, with hires like Audi contract hire for ridiculously small amounts of money a month, the cars you see in games can truly become your own.

Could you get a new Audi despite the recession?

The Audi logo with the circles always reminds me of that magic trick magicians do, you know the one where they link separate solid metal rings together into a chain. As a child I could never work out how they did it, and now I’m finding I’m wondering the same thing about Audi and their equally baffling methods of staying afloat in the recession.

At a time when most of the car industry is on its knees, I’m sure I’m seeing more Audi TT’s on the roads than ever before. I’m sure it’s not my imagination – suddenly it seems everyone is driving these sleek upmarket cars, despite the obvious financial issues.

I suppose it could just be that the type of people who can afford to buy Audi cars probably had plenty of money in the first place, and are less likely to have been hit hard by the credit crunch. Maybe it’s just that those who do still have spare cash to spend on posh cars want to flaunt it, but I doubt that can really be it. Well, not just that anyway!

A more likely explanation is the fact that, while most people just can’t afford to think about investing in new cars at the moment, their old ones are still wearing out and needing to be replaced. And if you need a new car but can’t afford to buy brand new, the logical solution is to look at car contract hire instead.

And the best thing about contract hire or leasing is that the cost of the car is split into simple manageable instalments. You’re not restricted to only looking at cheaper cars, or those that you would have been able to afford to buy outright. In fact, the nicer car you choose the better deal you usually get. So if you always wanted an Audi but couldn’t quite justify buying one, then Audi contract hire could let you get your dream car despite the credit crunch.

Judging by the increasing number of nice cars around at the moment, it would seem people are beginning to wise up to this cunning method of tricking the recession! (Oh and in case you were wondering – that other trick, the one with the rings, is done either with concealed gaps or simply slight of hand as the magician conceals the fact they were connected all along. And yes, my small childhood self was gutted when I eventually found it out!)
